A little about us…

We are a volunteer group since its inception in 1889 the Annual Cobram Agricultural Society Show continues to be one of the major social events of the district involving all ages within the community. The two-day event is an opportunity to display local talents, entertainments, exhibitions and competitors from Cobram and surrounding areas. There is a buzz of excitement as the show date approaches and exhibits from the local kindergartens and schools including artwork and writing, needlework, photography, floral displays and cooking are entered assembled and judged; resulting in a brilliant display in the pavilion that is a major attraction for visitors.

The agricultural section continues to be popular with sections for cattle, sheep, goats and poultry. The equestrian events on the oval attract many competitors and onlookers. As do the displays of earlier farming methods and equipment. The Miss & Master Tiny Tots and Miss Showgirl Sections are also very popular. The Pet Parade attracts many of the younger generation who love the opportunity to bring their pets along. The continuing success of the show can be attributed to the enthusiastic and hardworking communities and their helpers, who, over the years, whilst remaining true to its core values of promoting the primary industry and their suppliers in the area have added events and attractions to maintain community interest in these ever-changing times. The show is held over two days on the fourth weekend in October and we look forward to seeing YOU there.
